Alex and Neil officially exchanged “I do’s” before friends and family on a breezy autumn day. A lot of life led up to this moment—becoming parents together, enduring the loss of loved ones, their first home, graduation, and new careers. While their engagement period may have been longer than some, everyone could see these two were meant to be. And they knew it, too. They were just waiting for the perfect pause in life so they could truly enjoy their day to the fullest. They wanted a fall wedding, so given the season’s unpredictable weather, an indoor/outdoor wedding venue was a must!

Owl Ridge Wedding Venue in Greencastle, Indiana, offered the private setting and scenic landscape they envisioned for their day. Fall foliage popped among the evergreens, giving them a picture-perfect ceremony backdrop. It may have been windy with a few showers here and there, but cloudy skies create a natural lightbox for photos, and the wind brought energy to their photos and video.
